Kangaroo Island, South Australia
75 Miles south of Adelaide lies Kangaroo Island, Australia’s third largest island, mostly populated by sheep, the island boasts immense character, with some amazing rock formations that resemble abstract art – known as the Remarkable Rocks.
Clearly as the name suggests there are mobs of wild Kangaroos but not only this species thrives on the island there are also masses of Koalas, Penguins and Tamar Wallabies (almost extinct on the mainland).
